Copy and pasting via the clipboard enables the native control+c and control+v functions. This means you would be able to copy items on the canvas from one shard to another.
I honestly cant believe this isnt a thing. its was the first thing i tried to do. u pay so much for this service and theres no copy and paste lol

It may sound easy when you have copy paste of images/text on the web, but this is actually quite difficult when doing it electron, especially as we have our own unique data structure where I’d imagine you’d want everything copied over, including styles, position, actions, etc. There’s a lot of edge cases here that are difficult to overcome without breaking functionality, like show/hide actions that are referencing components of the original shard, but are not available in the new one.
This is to say, it’s quite a decent chunk of work, with a lot of edge cases and testing involved that we need to weigh up against many other priorities for our business, considering we’re only 2 developers on this team, while still keeping everything else running smoothly.

Essential for the craftspeople that manipulate and test shard functions regularly especially considering Star Citizen update and change keybinds constantly
